Introduction
This guide provides detailed instructions for members of the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine community to request a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) setup. VDI enables secure remote access to Kaiser Permanente applications, ensuring you can work effectively from anywhere while maintaining data security.
Why Request a VDI Setup?
VDI allows Contingent Workers and other authorized users to securely access Kaiser Permanente applications remotely. This setup provides a consistent desktop experience, enhances security, and ensures compliance with institutional IT policies.
Prerequisites
Before you begin your VDI request, ensure you have your Network User ID (NUID) ready and an active account within the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine system.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Request VDI Setup
